Pearl - Specialty Fiber

Pearl fiber is a natural UVA protector!

This specialty fiber combines precious pearl powder and biodegradable cellulose fiber with fabulous results: Pearl fiber is pure white, very soft and lustrous, smooth and cool to the touch and good for moisture absorption. 

Pearl fiber can be spun on its own or blended with virtually any other fiber to add a silky, pearlescent sheen to your next yarn or felting project. It also takes dyes easily.

2 Ounces (50g) combed top sliver / roving.

Pearl fiber - even though it is based on cellulose fiber, it does not qualify as vegan due to the animal origin of the pearl powder.

Average staple length: 4 inches (100mm).
