Eri Silk - Natural Yellow

Eri is also called Peace Silk or Ahimsa Silk - it is harvested after the silk caterpillar emerges from its cocoon as a moth, allowing it to live a full life cycle. It has all the great properties of silk, with the added bonus of being 100% cruelty-free!

Eri Silk is un-dyed: The rich golden, glossy bronze tones are completely natural and come from the conditions in which the silk worms are cultivated. It is much prized for it's beautiful coloring and longevity - this rare precious fiber was reserved for royal garments in ancient China. Eri Silk can produce rich deep tones when overdyed.
