Tussah Silk - Black

Tussah silk, also known as Wild Silk, isn't strictly cultivated so the caterpillars can receive varying diets resulting in different hues and textures. It has a slightly shorter staple length than Mulberry, Muga or Eri silk. 

This deep black silk can be spun on its own or blended with virtually any other fiber to add softness, beautiful shine and a cooling, temperature balancing quality to your yarn or felting project.
