Suri is a rare, naturally white Alpaca breed known for its long staple length - without the crimp that is found in other Alpaca breeds. It is a soft, silky, lustrous fiber that is giving Cashmere a run for it's money.
The long staple length of Suri Alpaca fiber also makes it an excellent choice for doll hair, rooting and wigs.
Insider tip: Suri Alpaca is only just starting to become available for commercial garment production, but is only known to connoisseurs as a possibly superior alternative to Cashmere.
