Pineapple - Cellulose Vegan Fiber
New and exciting: Pineapple fiber is a new, sustainably harvested, eco-friendly textile fiber derived from the leaves of the pineapple plant, Ananas comosus. This wonderful fiber is silky, resilient and strong. It is most often used for sheer, silky fabrics, ropes, twine, and paper making. Truly an example of up-cycling at it's best, this fiber is an agricultural by-product that would otherwise have gone to waste.
This is a 100% cellulose, vegan fiber - use by itself or blended with other fibers, suitable for all fiber arts. We recommend fiber reactive dyes if you plan to dye this fiber,
Our Vegan Fibers are rigorously tested to meet strict GOTS and Oeko-Tex standards. This means they are guaranteed to be free from harmful substances often found in manufacturing, such as formaldehyde, phthalates, and heavy metals.
We offer a wide variety of vegan fibers. All of them are sustainably harvested, biodegradable, and 100% cruelty-free. They are produced in a solar powered facility with 100% waste water reclamation in the dye process. Thank you for being kind to your skin and the planet!
